Water Efficiency Certificates
A Water Efficiency Certificate is a document that states a particular property is certified as water efficient.
Tenants can only be charged for all water consumption if:
- the property is individually metered (or water is delivered by vehicle), and
- the property is water efficient, and
- the tenancy agreement states the tenant must pay for water consumption
The property owner must pay all fixed charges, including sewerage charges. The tenant cannot be charged more than the billable amount.
Proving water efficiency
It is a good idea for the property manager/owner to be able to demonstrate the presence of water efficient fittings by having copies of:
- plumbing reports (or compliance certification)
- receipts
- packaging
- warranties or instruction manuals for taps and showerheads
Blocked Drains & Sewers
The most common causes of sewer blockages are as follows:
- Flushing the wrong things
- Tree roots
- Deteriorating sewer lines
- Debris - grass, mud, leaves, sticks

Sewer Machine & Industrial Endoscope
To unblock the sewer machine is fed into the line to manually break up whatever is causing the blockage to allow water to pass through.
If the problem still exists an industrial endoscope is used to observe all the deep cavities of objects. Inspection is carried out (using high-resolution video camera) to locate obstructions in the pipeline and the detection of leaks.
Gas Fitting
Gas installations and gas leaks are detected and repaired. Installation of gas stoves & gas hot water heaters.
Gas Compliance Certificate for your caravan is required in addition to the safety/roadworthy certificate.

Plumbing
A leaky old toilet can waste a lot of time and energy for any residence. Older toilets use much more water than newer models. If you’re not looking to replace your toilet, it’s important to keep an eye on your existing one and check for leaks.
Dripping taps don’t just sound annoying, they waste enormous amounts of water, anywhere in the region of 30-200 litres a day.
Renovations/Refurbishments
Home renovations and refurbishments need to be planned properly. It is important to take the rime to discuss your plumbing requirements with us. Kitchen and bathroom renovations need to be energy efficient and cost efficient.

Dishwasher Installation
The dishwasher is the highest consumer of water in your kitchen. The recommendation, to save your hands and your pockets, is to choose a water efficient model.
If you’re ready to buy a new dishwasher, check the appliance for a WELS (National Water Efficiency Labelling and scheme) label. The more stars on the label, the more water efficient the product. The best products have 6 stars.
